Volleyball Recap: Travelers Rest Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Travelers Rest had lost five straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 2-14 to make it six. They came up short against the Greer Yellow Jackets, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellow Jackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on September 4th.

As for Greer, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win they have posted against Travelers Rest since October 8, 2019.

Greer was led to victory by Adison Howard and Ivey Tapp. Howard had nine digs and four aces, while Tapp had 16 assists and five digs. That's the most aces Howard has posted since back in August.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Travelers Rest will take on rival Daniel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Greer is set to square off against their familiar foe Pickens at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
