Softball Recap: Hoosic Valley Hawks vs. Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians

Hoosic Valley waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 23-1 margin over the Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians. That's more bragging rights for the Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Emma Gibson made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Gibson was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.
