Soccer Recap: Lightridge Comes Up Short

Lightridge was the 3-0 winner over Riverside when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Bolts fell just short of the Ram by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. Lightridge have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Layla Juliano, who's now up to two this season.

Lightridge's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-2. As for Riverside, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4-3.

Coming up, Lightridge will head out on the road to face off against Briar Woods at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Riverside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Independence will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Riverside surely won't give up without a fight.
