Softball Recap: Centerpoint Comes Up Short

Centerpoint lost against Ouachita last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Centerpoint Knights fell just short of the Ouachita Warriors by a score of 6-5. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Centerpoint now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Ouachita, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Centerpoint didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-7 win against Jessieville on the 15th. As for Ouachita, they will challenge Bismarck at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Bismarck has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.14 runs per game on average), something Ouachita will no doubt try to take advantage of.
