 In what's become a running theme this season, Purdue Polytechnic gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by  a  9-2 margin over the Purdue Broad Ripple Lynx. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Purdue Polytechnic.
  DeWayne Sawyers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered  just two earned runs on four hits and racked up 13 Ks.
 On the hitting side,  Vincent Samaro was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.  Kin Chow was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 On Purdue Broad Ripple's side,  Daniel White was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing four bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. White is crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: he's   stolen at least two every time he's  taken the field this season.
 Purdue Polytechnic's win was  their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 3-4. As for Purdue Broad Ripple, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Purdue Polytechnic will  challenge Heritage Christian at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Heritage Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.5  runs per game  this season. As for Purdue Broad Ripple, they will be staying on the road  on Thursday to face off against Indiana School for the Deaf at 5:30  p.m.
