Volleyball Recap: Gabrielino Takes a Loss

Gabrielino's tournament run continued when they took on Saugus on Saturday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Centurions. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Saugus found their leader in freshman Emily Tran, who had seven digs and three aces.

Gabrielino now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Saugus, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Looking ahead, Gabrielino will head out to square off against Flintridge Sacred Heart at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Saugus, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against San Dimas on the 16th.
