Baseball Recap: North Moore Find Success

North Moore won the last time they faced Chatham Central and things went their way on Monday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Bears. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The team relied heavily on Cade Clewis, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. North Moore is undefeated when Clewis posts two or more runs, but 6-9 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of John Carre, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.

The win got North Moore back to even at 9-9. As for Chatham Central, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-15.

As of now, neither North Moore nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
