Apollo's loss came despite strong showings from Sylus Stevenson and Isaiah White. Stevenson threw for 401 yards and four touchdowns while completing 77.5% of his passes, while White picked up 193 receiving yards and two touchdowns. White torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 74 yards.
Goldwater's record is now 4-2. As for Apollo, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Goldwater will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Ironwood at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.
