Softball Recap: Seminole Comes Up Short

Seminole was the 8-4 winner over Oviedo when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Seminoles wound up with the same score they had in their last game (7-3), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Seminole saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Hertz, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Seminole's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Oviedo, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seminole will take on Osceola at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oviedo, they will square off against The Master's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
