Marshall lost against Robinson back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Marshall Lions came up short against the Robinson Maroons, falling 43-21. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Robinson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-13.

Marshall won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Paris at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Robinson, they will take on North Clay/Clay City at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
