Volleyball Game Preview: Heritage Academy Heroes vs. Scottsdale Preparatory Academy Spartans

Heritage Academy hasn't had much luck against Scottsdale Preparatory Academy recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Heroes will be playing at home against the Spartans at 6:00 p.m.

Heritage Academy lost 3-0 to Veritas Prep on Thursday.

Heritage Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-10, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Scottsdale Preparatory Academy waltzed into their match on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mustangs. The Spartans not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 7th (when they won 3-0).

Heritage Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Scottsdale Preparatory Academy, their win bumped their record up to 20-10.

Heritage Academy might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Scottsdale Preparatory Academy when the teams last played back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Spartans' Brielle Amarel, who had 15 digs and four aces.
