Volleyball Game Preview: Swansboro Pirates vs. Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs

The Swansboro Pirates will take on the Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northside - Jacksonville took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Swansboro, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Swansboro made easy work of Havelock and carried off a 3-0 win. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

While Swansboro won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Northside - Jacksonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Dixon, falling 3-0.

Swansboro's win bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Northside - Jacksonville, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.

Swansboro took their victory against Northside - Jacksonville in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Monarchs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
