Baseball Recap: Buffalo Takes a Loss

Buffalo lost against Elkhart back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bison fell 5-2 to the Elks. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Buffalo got a good showing from J Perez, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave Perez a new career-low in walks (zero).

On the hitting side, K Brantley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with five stolen bases and two RBI.

Buffalo's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Elkhart, their victory bumped their record up to 11-13.

Buffalo didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 11-0 defeat against Groesbeck on the 17th. As for Elkhart, they are taking a road trip to challenge Teague at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
