Basketball Recap: Woodlynde Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Woodlynde can now relate to. They took a blow against the Kimberton Waldorf Bulls on Monday, falling 52-21. The loss leaves Woodlynde without a win on the season.

Kimberton Waldorf's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Franklin Matichak, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. Those nine boards gave Matichak a new career-high. Jojo Da Graca was another key player, putting up eight points and four steals.

Woodlynde's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Kimberton Waldorf, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Woodlynde does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kimberton Waldorf, they will challenge AIM Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
