Volleyball Game Preview: Kennedy Cougars vs. Clear Creek-Amana Clippers

Kennedy hasn't had much luck against Clear Creek-Amana recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Cougars are taking a road trip to take on the Clippers at 9:00 a.m.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Kennedy and Iowa City West had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Trojans on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered since September 9th.

Meanwhile, Clear Creek-Amana entered their tilt with Benton on Tuesday with 24 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 25. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bobcats.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Clear Creek-Amana, their win bumped their record up to 26-1.

Kennedy couldn't quite get it done against Clear Creek-Amana when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
