Baseball Recap: Hardin County Comes Up Short

Hardin County has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.96 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They fell 11-8 to the Chester County Eagles. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 5-3.

Hardin County's defeat dropped their record down to 21-7. As for Chester County, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

Hardin County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-2 victory against Jackson South Side on the 2nd. Hopefully Chester County paid attention to the Tigers' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Tigers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
