Volleyball Recap: Shannon Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shannon can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the New Albany Bulldogs on Saturday. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Among those leading the charge was Lizzie Moore, who had eight digs and eight aces. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high.

Shannon's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for New Albany, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 28-10-4.

Shannon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Albany, they will challenge Senatobia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
