Volleyball Recap: Enterprise Hornets vs. Fall River Bulldogs

Enterprise was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Fall River Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2021.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-12.

Fall River can attribute much of their success to Olivia Peterson, who had ten digs and a block. Peterson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last four games she's played dating back to last season.

Enterprise's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Fall River, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season.

Enterprise will face off against Foothill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Foothill will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something Enterprise surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fall River, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory vs. Trinity on the 14th.
