Dibble Made His Presence Known in Atkins'  27-22 Loss
  Garrison Dibble continued his hot streak  on Friday by dropping his 18th-straight game (dating back to last season) with  at least seven  total tackles. He picked up  three  sacks, forced a fumble,  and made 17 total tackles.
 If history really does repeat itself,  Dibble might just drop another big game when he faces off against High Point Central on Friday. Dibble picked up  a  sack and made 14 total tackles (4.0 for loss) the last time he and the Bison duked it out  back in October of 2023.

Koredell Bartley and Co. Win Eighth in a Row
 Dudley picked up their eighth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Koredell Bartley. Bartley turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 44 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 Dudley pushed their record up to 8-0 with the  victory, which was their 12th straight  at home dating back to last season. Bartley and Dudley will challenge Southern Guilford at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Covington Came Up Big in Southern Guilford's  42-0  Defeat
 Southern Guilford had to settle for second  on Friday, but  Travis Covington sure wasn't going down easily. Nobody could stop  Covington as he forced a fumble, made 14 total tackles (1.0 for loss),  and defended a pass.
 This year,  Covington  has averaged 8 total tackles per game.

Steven Murray Turns in Season-Best  Effort
 Eastern Guilford was led to victory by  Steven Murray, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Murray picked up 104 receiving yards and two touchdowns, good enough to  also set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. Eastern Guilford is 4-1 when  Murray posts two or  more  receiving touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
 The  victory (which was Eastern Guilford's fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-3. Murray and Eastern Guilford will square off against Ben L. Smith at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Javion Majette Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
  Javion Majette produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Eastern Guilford to the win  on Friday. Majette threw for 192 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, good enough to  also set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process.
 For the season,  Majette  has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 112.6 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 12.76  passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 87.64  passer rating.
