Soccer Recap: Beaver Comes Up Short

If Beaver was riding high fresh off their 7-2 takedown of South Summit last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Beavers came up short against the Richfield Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 7-2. Beaver were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Beaver's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Richfield, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Beaver will head out on the road to take on Maeser Prep Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Richfield, they have already played their next matchup, a 9-1 win against Emery on the 13th.
