Recap: Granger Christian Knights vs. Andrews Academy
The Granger Christian Knights were the 39-36 winner over Andrews Academy when they last played one another back in January of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. Granger Christian was the victim of a rough 42-19 loss at the hands of Andrews Academy on Friday. Granger Christian just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
Leading Andrews Academy to victory were Havvah Schnepp and Audrey Simpson. Schnepp scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and four steals, while Simpson dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. Simpson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games she's played.
Granger Christian has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Andrews Academy, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.
Granger Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Andrews Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Tournament Opponent at 10:30 a.m. on January 26th.
