Jacob Gutierrez Game Report: vs Sallisaw

Passers beware: Jacob Gutierrez came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also picked up 60 receiving yards, helping propel Poteau past Sallisaw by a score of 28-13. We hope Gutierrez's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Looking ahead, Gutierrez and Poteau are taking a road trip to face off against Hilldale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Gutierrez up against the Hornets' star pass catcher Brady Scott. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
