Barnesville won the last time they faced Perham and things went their way on Friday too. The Barnesville Trojans escaped with a win against the Perham Yellowjackets by the margin of a single free throw, 46-45. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Perham's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addison Draeger, who posted three points in addition to 11 boards and four steals. The dominant performance also gave Draeger a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Kaia Anderson, who scored 13 points.

Barnesville pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Perham, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Barnesville will head out to square off against Ada-Borup/Norman County West at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Perham, they will head out on the road to challenge Thief River Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Perham is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.3 points per game this season.
