Volleyball Recap: Triad Cardinals vs. Fairbanks Panthers
Triad was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Fairbanks Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
Triad's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Fairbanks, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-5.
After both having extra time off, Triad and Anna will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fairbanks, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Amanda-Clearcreek on the 15th.
