Waynedale extended their winning streak  to five  on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 10-10 in the process. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rittman Indians, sneaking past  5-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Golden Bears also won the last time the pair played  back in April of 2024.
  Madi Miller was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  double. She has been hot, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last five times she's  played.
As for Rittman, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost 11 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record  this season. The  loss was just more heartbreak for they who fell  6-4 when the teams previously met back in April of 2024.
On Rittman's side,  Lillian Halliwell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and three unearned) runs on seven hits.
 At the plate, Rittman saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Allison Hollabaugh, who  went 1-for-4 with one  double. Another  was  Ariel Daughtery, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  RBI.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waynedale will head out to  take on Hillsdale  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Golden Bears are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Rittman, they will challenge Woodridge at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
