Northview has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 15. They came up short against the Grand Haven Buccaneers on Saturday, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Northview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 279th, while Grand Haven are ranked 13th).

Northview's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14-2. As for Grand Haven, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-2-2.

Coming up, Northview will square off against West Catholic at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Grand Haven does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
