Basketball Game Preview: Eagleville Eagles vs. Pickett County Bobcats

The Eagleville Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Pickett County Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Eagleville is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Loretto just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 75-49 to the Mustangs. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-20.

Meanwhile, Pickett County came up short against Roane County on Saturday, falling 68-46.

Eagleville's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2. As for Pickett County, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.

Eagleville was able to grind out a solid victory over Pickett County in their previous matchup on December 12th, winning 56-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eagleville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
