Softball Recap: Ridge Takes a Loss

Ridge came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the West Morris Central Wolfpack, falling 9-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Red Devil have suffered since May 28, 2025.

Ridge dropped their record down to 6-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for West Morris Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season.

Ridge has already played their next game (against Westfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for West Morris Central, they will host Roxbury at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Gaels have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
