After a string of six wins, Cathedral Catholic's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against the Torrey Pines Falcons, falling 3-0. If the Dons were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Falcons when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-21, 25-12.

Cathedral Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Torrey Pines, their victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-2.

Cathedral Catholic has already played their next contest (against St. Augustine), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Torrey Pines, they will host Carlsbad at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lancers will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
