River Falls came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the River Valley Blackhawks. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Their offense was headlined by Brooke Dusek and Amelie Pankonin, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Anika Schwartz and her ten assists. Dusek was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

River Falls' win bumped their record up to 5-0.

River Falls has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Unity on the 29th. After both having extra time off, River Valley and Platteville will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Hillmen have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
