Volleyball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Rowe

If Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Rowe, they should've done a better job of containing Isabella Munoz. The Warriors put the hurt on the Javelinas with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday with plenty of help from Munoz, who had five digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having also posted 12 or more assists the last four times she's played.

Rowe walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-13.

The win made it two in a row for Rowe and bumps their season record up to 20-12. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest, they are on a 30-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-24.

Coincidentally, Rowe and Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest will both be playing Pioneer the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Diamondbacks at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Javelinas will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
