Basketball Game Preview: Santa Rosa Lions vs. Rehoboth Christian Lynx

The Santa Rosa Lions will face off against the Rehoboth Christian Lynx at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Santa Rosa knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 20 games -- so hopefully Rehoboth Christian likes a good challenge.

Santa Rosa is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They strolled past Raton with points to spare, taking the game 75-60. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Rehoboth Christian had already won 14 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 43.7 points) and they went ahead and made it 15 on Saturday. They walked away with a 60-49 win over the Bobcats.

Santa Rosa's victory bumped their record up to 25-5. As for Rehoboth Christian, their win bumped their record up to 21-8.

Santa Rosa was able to grind out a solid victory over Rehoboth Christian when the teams last played back in January, winning 58-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Santa Rosa since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
