Football Recap: St. Patrick Fighting Irish vs. Tylertown Chiefs
St. Patrick lost against Tylertown back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Fighting Irish had to suffer through a 42-7 loss at the hands of the Chiefs. While losing is never fun, the Fighting Irish can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi football rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Chiefs are ranked 90th).
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tylertown to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jermaine Pittman, who rushed for 57 yards and two scores on only six carries, and also picked up 63 receiving yards and one touchdown.all of that, receiving production came thanks to one massive catch Another passer making a difference was Keonnis Davis, who threw for 185 yards and one TD.
