Basketball Recap: Liberty Christian Academy Starts Season with Win on the Road

Liberty Christian Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Heritage Classical Christian Academy Hawks 78-32. With the Eagles ahead 40-14 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Phoenix Obermann had an outrageously good game as he went 8-for-17 to rack up 21 points and six steals. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Tommy Meyer, who shot 55% from the field en route to 12 points along with five boards and four blocks.
