Basketball Game Preview: Twin Valley Panthers vs. Grundy Golden Wave

Twin Valley hasn't had much luck against Grundy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Twin Valley Panthers will face off against the Grundy Golden Wave at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Twin Valley took a loss when they played away from home back in December of 2024, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Council 58-26. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Grundy strolled past Hurley with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 58-42. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Wave.

Grundy has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for Twin Valley, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9.

Twin Valley took a serious blow against Grundy in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 91-28. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Twin Valley was down 49-20.
