Basic extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Kevin Millano. The Wolves were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Green Valley Gators on Thursday for which the team can thank Millano, who had 14 assists and six digs. He has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more assists the last four times he's played.

While Basic won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20, 25-22.

Basic's win bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Green Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-17 record this season.

Basic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Centennial on the 21st. As for Green Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Cheyenne on the 21st.
