Chilton County is  a perfect 8-0 against Pelham since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Chilton County Tigers  challenge  Pelham Panthers at 4:30  p.m. Chilton County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8  runs per game  this season.
Chilton County saw some tournament action  on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Cleveland, sneaking past  4-3.
The team  relied heavily on  Anna Cate Burnett, who  went 1-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Ishunti Brown, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
 Chilton County was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .393. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .355 or higher in three consecutive  matchups.
Meanwhile, Pelham waltzed into their contest  on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with  a   6-2  win over the Cavaliers.

Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.0 runs over those games. Pelham pushed their record up to 8-12 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  at home.
Both Chilton County and Pelham just can't seem to miss. Chilton County has been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 10.2  hits per game. However, it's not like Pelham struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  only 4.8  hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
