While Fowler's victory against Ovid-Elsie wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Marauders 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since April 30th.

Fowler has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Ovid-Elsie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-18-1.

Coming up, Fowler will square off against Western at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ovid-Elsie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
