Basketball Recap: North Tampa Christian Academy Skates Past Palmetto with Ease

North Tampa Christian Academy was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Palmetto on Saturday. The Titans simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Tigers 56-21. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

North Tampa Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Arhan Ramachandran led the charge by going 5-for-7 to rack up 14 points and six rebounds. Ramachandran is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 71% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tysen Jefferson, who posted nine points along with seven boards and four steals.

The win got North Tampa Christian Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Palmetto, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, North Tampa Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Calvary Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.6 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Palmetto, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bayshore at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
