Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Merritt). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Duke Tigers 78-15. Winning may never get old, but the Oilers sure are getting used to it with their 15th in a row.

Merritt pushed their record up to 16-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.2 points. As for Duke, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Merritt has already played their next matchup, a 73-22 defeat against Seiling on the 23rd. As for Duke, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 28-26 win against Blair on the 24th.
