Basketball Recap: Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley Takes a Loss

Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley lost against West Lyon back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley NIGHTHAWKS took a 52-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Lyon Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the NIGHTHAWKS can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 190th, while the Wildcats are ranked 33rd).

Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for West Lyon, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 58-49 victory against Sioux Center on the 14th. As for West Lyon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-40 win against Rock Valley on the 11th.
