Volleyball Recap: Paramount Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Paramount waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Firebaugh Falcons by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pirates also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Paramount was actually outscored in aggregate across those four sets (95-94), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-23, 16-25, 25-21.

Paramount's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Firebaugh, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Paramount will face off against rival La Mirada at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Firebaugh is set to take on their familiar foe Lynwood at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
