Soccer Game Preview: Bay vs. Godby

The Bay Tornadoes will face off against the Godby Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, Bay came up short against Destin and fell 4-2. Mason Steinhiser was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Erickson Maradiaga and Diego De La Cruz scored both of Bay's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Meanwhile, Godby put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their undefeated season alive. They never let Munroe get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Give Godby's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Godby's win bumped their record up to 11-0-3. As for Bay, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-8-3.
