Baseball Recap: Woodstock North Comes Up Short

Woodstock North lost against Crystal Lake Central back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Thunder took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Braeden Berner was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1 stolen bases per game.

Woodstock North's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Crystal Lake Central, their win ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-20-1.

Woodstock North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crystal Lake Central, they will head out to face off against Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
