With a playoff win on the line, Hernando rose to the challenge on Monday. They walked away with a 19-7 victory over the New Smyrna Beach Barracudas. Winning may never get old, but the Leopards sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Hernando got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Carlie Grant out in front who threw for 190 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of her passes, and also rushed for 35 yards. Another pass catcher making a difference was Aajyrah Adams, who picked up 62 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Hernando's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for New Smyrna Beach, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season.

Hernando will be playing at home against Clay at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Devils will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something the Leopards surely won't give up without a fight. New Smyrna Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
