Volleyball Recap: Franklin Central Takes a Loss

Franklin Central lost against Homestead back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Flashes fell 2-0 to the Spartans.

Ryelle Koomler paced Franklin Central's offense, picking up nine kills. Koomler got some help from Emily Williams and her 20 assists.

Franklin Central's loss dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Homestead, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Franklin Central has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Shelbyville on the 11th. As for Homestead, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against New Albany on the 11th.
