After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Point, Union was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the Warrenton Warriors. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 6-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Union is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. Warrenton moved to 4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union will take on Washington at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Union is facing Washington at the right time seeing as Washington is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Warrenton, they will venture away from home to square off against Montgomery County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
