Basketball Recap: Three Rivers Christian Comes Up Short

Three Rivers Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Wahkiakum Mules and fell 45-5. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-12 back in December of 2024.

Three Rivers Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Wahkiakum, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

Three Rivers Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Columbia Adventist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on February 3rd. As for Wahkiakum, they will host Oakville at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Wahkiakum has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
