Volleyball Recap: San Lorenzo Takes a Loss

After flying high against Tennyson on Tuesday, San Lorenzo came back down to earth. The Grizzlies lost 3-0 to the Mt. Eden Monarchs on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Monarchs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-1, 25-2, 25-1.

San Lorenzo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Mt. Eden, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. San Lorenzo is set to face off against their familiar foe Hayward at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mt. Eden will square off against rival Encinal at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
