Baseball Recap: Victory Christian Academy Falls Short of Seffner Christian in the Playoffs

Victory Christian Academy and Seffner Christian squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Victory Christian Academy had to settle for second. They lost 12-2 to the Crusaders. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Storm couldn't push the score so high this time.

Victory Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Thomas, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Victory Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Seffner Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

Victory Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seffner Christian, they will take on Sports Leadership & Management at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Crusaders surely won't give up without a fight.
